Poplar trees along the banks of the stream in Alalpardo, Madrid. Spain.

Notes for photographers
You can park your car nearby and then walk along the river.
Access to the poplar groves is difficult, as there are usually many brambles and weeds. You have to go well equipped.
You may need shears to free yourself when you’re tangled in brambles, or even a machete at certain times of the year.
Wear long, protective clothing and boots (waterproof boots if you plan to wade into the river).
Use insect repellent, especially on your pants to avoid ticks.
You might encounter snakes, ducks, cats, and even roe deer. But there are no dangerous animals here.
You won’t cover much ground quickly; it’s difficult to move around quickly when carrying a tripod and looking for good photo compositions.
